Sandi’s Costumes & Alterations, formerly Robert Schmidt Costumes, is located at 136 E. St. Louis Ave. in East Alton, IL.

Our costume department is the largest in the area, housing historical, military, theatrical & masquerade as well as a retail department for accessories, makeup and wigs. We can dress you from the dawn of man to present day. We have something for everyone, and almost every show you may be doing. If you are hosting a costume party or attending one, we guarantee that you will find something to wear in our stock that will set you apart from everyone else. We also do costuming for schools, churches, amateur and professional theatrical companies.

Come on in and browse for a while. We are 1.5 miles from Rte 3 and about five minutes from I-255. The shop hours are 12pm-6pm Monday, Thursday and Friday and 12pm-4pm on Saturday. Come on in and browse for a while. There’s so much fun stuff in here! If you don’t see what you need, ask us. We might be able to special order it for you.
